I posted this about a year ago, when some were complaining about faracster's inner circle or "cool kids table". I argued then that Farcaster being an *open protocol with a culture built around developers*, means everyone and anyone can come in and make an impact. I still believe this today, but what do you think?

I 100% agree but also think there's some favoritism from Warpcast. It's been recommending the same 5 people for me to follow for a year. If I haven't followed them by now, maybe it's time to mix things up

Warpcast does do a certain amount of favoritism. Ideally it’s meritocratic and based on proof of contribution and/or history of quality content. For the recommended follows- I just think they haven’t spent too many cycles on improving it or personalizing it. I find it’s not very useful for me either.
