I’ve never understood the point of Duty Free shops. Nothing as far as I can tell is noticeably cheaper. Maybe stuff like cigarettes and liquor that I don’t buy? Don’t get it at all.

Mainly it's for high luxury-tax items. I don't buy any of those since I don't drink, so it's not useful for me.

I took a year off from drinking, and then forced myself to start drinking again. Is been an interesting 5 months that has made new realize how boring it is, and expensive

Yeah, I stopped drinking a number of years back. I still nurse a beer or wine on rare occasions when it's easier than sticking out, but even then I usually end up dumping it in a urinal. It's just too hard on the body and mind.
