In all seriousness, we need to ensure American crypto leadership does not result in US-based tokens enjoying advantages over decentralized competitors

New EF leadership should prioritize getting in front of this admin early and often, explaining how to embrace BTC/ETH while remaining America First (since that’s the stated policy goal)

I'd say I'm aligned on this take!

But yeah Trump wants US to be the leader in crypto, so he will be openly biased towards US chains and such. 

But if it's US-SOL vs decentralized ETH going after similar finance sectors, I'm assuming he'd favor SOL in principal. Not sure he shares the same OSS mindset many ETH people have :P

Right, so ETH is already at a disadvantage. Compounded if SOL folks are showing up consistently in DC and the EF isn’t.

Idealism makes me want to believe this won’t matter but it absolutely will. The guy’s identity is built around making deals. ETH needs someone in the room.
