last cycle’s consumer crypto wave was rooted in bringing IRL culture to digital spaces (and vise versa) NFTs communities, scenes like FWB, etc this cycle’s consumer crypto (frames, friendtech, crypto the game) feels primarily digital

my *hope* for this cycle is that we can start to see them as less distinct things modern life IS online, and increasingly so. other apps don't try to "bridge the gap", they exist as they are and let themselves spread e.g. TikTok Shop: it's online, and it's not fingers crossed for unlocking more "secret third things"
