what's that "west?" is it in the same room as us? Is it mexico? Argentina? Chilli? Brazil? Is it Morocco? Is it Norway? Iceland? Finland? Greece? Italy?

Everyone who speaks in geopolitical arena refers to "West" as the American, Canadian, European, and Oceanic allying countries (obviously by European alliance I also refer to mostly EU / NATO / WE / NE countries) It's like asking "wdym by middle east, middle of what"

Oh you mean generalizing for the democracy bit, not the definition of "West". Lol obviously it's generalizing, that wasn't meant as a larger absolute point clearly. The context includes larger geo-influence and interconnected economies too. FWIW, many of the rankings are flawed as their parameters are constrained.

many of the rankings are flowed, but all of them are showing surprisingly similar countries up top what you meant to say is "US doesn't have democracy" not "west doesn't have democracy" as it's quite evident that the "west" as you define it is primarily working democracies
