Timeline is based on who you follow. We sort by who you interact with most.

It’s my understanding that the algorithm that defines the “power badge” is a strong effector of the timeline algorithm and trending feed of each channel. When the power badge was introduced, @dwr.eth said that it would not be made public to prevent gamification. Not sure if that means TL is also closed source
