I don't hold this opinion strongly, but I have a feeling that the new channels structure kills the few areas Warpcast did better than other social media. - Kills discovery - Kills community building Warpcast's home feed algo isn't that good, and to be honest no social media can build the perfect algo. Make it easy for the user to choose

it is killing things, could help to skip troll massive attacks in the future, and spammers/scammers, this is why I am giving it opportunity.. but yeah, it is not doing good with my community.. anyway, we need more static data (pinned casts) in the way discord have it to show relevant info following structure.. and more direct communication with community, building it on threads depending on an algo is not easy nor funny.. missing 1 chronological chat (style private channel but public)

IMO the most significant blunder is that you see casts on the home feed from channels that you are not a member of, you'll reply and your reply will go directly to spam... There are also some minor bugs, like I said before the only good thing about this update is that if you are a member you have 0 chances that your cast will be hidden.

Agree, I feel like βpublic channelsβ should be a thing. Having to beg for access to some channels feels weird, to say the least.

I feel for a tiny channel like mine, /ambient , it was a real bad blow. I guess they did it for bot reasons which I can understand. We'll see how it goes...

I think I can understand the discovery portion, but I don't know that I understand the second point. Can you say more about that?
