ETH Roadmap, what do? Now everyone's had a chance to listen to Max and Mike episodes Max says make the L1 great again. Change roadmap to prioritize execution. Mike says settlement, DA, execution in that order. Existing roadmap good. So who's right? I don't have the technical background to evaluate the two approaches, but based on vibes and intuition, I feel like we could have some of both. I think I like the idea that all L2 rollups become base roll ups if that means more integration with and reliance on Ethereum L1. Personally, I mint my most valued art on Eth L1, and dabble with more experimental stuff or promotional level artwork on the L2s and even other chains.

We can defiantly do both, although its important to acknowledge that the L1 will probably never see transaction fees low enough that $10-$100 trades/payment makes sense fee wise. It is possible to get to ish 100 TPS on L1 with relatively small tradeoffs once MaxEB and Stateless clients are live. But that still means that fees will price a lot of users out. Scaling up the L2s just fundamentally gives you more bang for your buck.
