Lots of people saying SF is back, which is great. Was in NY last week and it was extremely vibrant. Seems like lots of cities are coming back.

It's def back relative to a year ago but IMO ~30-50% of pre-rona energy 

It's a telling signal though that nearly everyone I know who lives in SF seems to be in NY once every 2 months or so ...

Agree. Lots of activity on both coasts. It's a hopeful signal.

I think the energy is somehow back but in my humble opinion it’s not the same. 2 anecdotes: 

- I’m in a remote startup. We had everyone in SF before COVID. Now 2 people out of 40 are in SF. The rest is everywhere.

yeah feels like it’s back compared to peak corona times but still way down from mid 2010’s sf

vs nyc (even la) now feel more alive than pre corona
