my 3 token2049 takeaways: 1/ there aren't enough credible AI-adjacent crypto projects with live tokens to match retail interest. after $TAO $AKT $NEAR the list falls off pretty drastically. 2/ blockspace is a solved problem. 3/ bespoke events > large catch-alls.

I've talked to a number of founders about wanting to launch a $TAO subnet. I've identified a rubric (VCs, amiright?) for what would make for a successful subnet based on taostats. Some subnets are clearly more productive than others and well suited for Bittensor.

I can't help but think that the Vesuvius Challenge could make for an epic @bittensor_ subnet. The incentive mechanism of subnets seems ripe for a challenge like this.
