If you can get the .com for a personal / creative project do you go for it or go for something more fun like .wtf or .energy? 

For a company .com wins every time still but what about a personal, creative project? Is it to boomer to grab it?

.energy feels like too much imho

if it’s personal i prefer the .wtf or .xyz 
but for a company i rather .io but .com is always the best

for a person project i like xyz or wtf. mainly because as someone who is newish to the web3 space, I associate those domains with web3 projects because I had never seen them prior - totally agree: company= .com, brand = i like something more fun and less formal

My account is littered with .com .org etc TLDs that were once “Neat ideas”.

Always better to have and squat vs not have imho
