Is there anything about putting concert tickets onchain that could help with things like resellers and dynamic pricing? The main thing I can think of is like many chains, protocols, token and nft project give you access based on some kind of proof of previous participation which could at least make sure the top fans get to the buy the tickets earlier.

overtime, if tickets evolve to NFTs, its possible treating them as collectibles. Similarly to how I collect old Tampa Bay lightning Ticket stubs from the 90s. I mean hell, in my apple wallet ive never deleted a Delta boarding pass, I look at it as a little collection of where ive been

If they are proof of fan hood, they will also have value in secondary.

one million percent yes ticket sales are one of the most monopolized industries, with layers of fees & scalpers that hurt consumers. onchain simplifies and cuts through the bs, direct to consumer, and adds all our creative dev potential for ideas like you suggest but ticket master & livenation won't give up quietly, they already own all the big venues, and have been getting more greedy over the years, gouging and surcharging us from every angle good summary on the big baddies here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u--se25_px8

@openticketing.eth is the current marketleader in NFT Ticketing and has been doing this for years. They have an option where the event organiser or artist can set a max resell price, for example max 10% above retail. They have sold 6,8 million tickets onchain for 23.000 events worldwide!

Another thing you could think off is that it prevent scalping and reselling. It could probably also be a key to fan rewards

This is a great idea! Putting tickets on-chain can significantly improve transparency, control over pricing, and prioritize true fans with proof of participation. While putting tickets on-chain offers transparency and control, it may complicate the buying process for average fans unfamiliar with crypto. It has its cons and pros
