The main thing I can think of is like many chains, protocols, token and nft project give you access based on some kind of proof of previous participation which could at least make sure the top fans get to the buy the tickets earlier.

This is a great idea! Putting tickets on-chain can significantly improve transparency, control over pricing, and prioritize true fans with proof of participation. 

While putting tickets on-chain offers transparency and control, it may complicate the buying process for average fans unfamiliar with crypto.
