Pullover if just vibing / not doing higher output activities. Feels like a cozy hug. Zipups in cases you have to change layers / higher output activities.

If I'm working, or layering up for outdoors, I want a zip-up. Recently bought cropped zip-up work jacket, pretty much just a shortened body. Its cool. Pretty much any other time, I want a pullover.

If they have a front graphic the pullover can display it larger (for a vibe), also continuous pockets I use both - generally prefer to have a few of each kind :)
