It can feel like playing with 50 different sets of legos at once. Some sets you enjoy more than others, but they're all interesting enough. It's messy and there's rarely any completed builds. But in rare moments, the mind clicks and puts those 50 different sets together in one glorious creation.

yeah basically this. you'll wonder if all the things you're involved in have any merit, and then one day you'll see something no one else can and everything will come together like it was destiny.
