first off, I'm excited to go from the big 6 with a case down to the naked 5a. small phone gang rise up. it's slower though. gonna take my time setting up my apps again, try to keep it trim.

mmm, I thought about it, but I've been addicted to "it just works" lately so I've gone with stock Android right now. i had ethOS installed (from back when the 5a was a supported device), but wiped it clean because I needed a quick restore of my data and USB transfer wasn't an option. maybe eventually I'll ROM it (I have a special fondness for the days of squeezing half an hour of screen time out of a custom kernel) but today I just want a phone that I don't pay that much attention to.

Yup the “just works” philosophy is why I’ve had a hard time leaving Apple. ethOS caught my attention as someone who is very Ethereum native at this point but there’s irony in feeling like a second class citizen in crypto products when you’re not on iOS 😩

Wait you mean the financial revolution isn’t happening on 16” MacBook Pro that can render suboptimal react apps connected with high speed internet and synced to iPhone 15 Max’s?? But it works on *my* machine!
