i love Balaji

but US literally has never experienced hyperinflation

this would be unprecedented — and i don't think that we are in unprecedented times yet

maybe his definition of hyperinflation differs from the commonly accepted 50% per month

i don't see US printing twice as many dollars as is already printed

you seem to have confused speed of printing with with total amount printed overall, inflation is calculated from the later

for inflation to get to 50% US will need to print as many dollars as there are right now

we are nowhere close to these levels, no matter the speed of printer

price inflation is corporate greed (can happen without supply increase), but monetary inflation is the Fed

important to note that monetary inflation went to banks, and then fled to RRP and similar facilities instead of being distributed to people through loans, where price inflation was occurring
