in Aus we're about to have digital ID be the only way to access the internet

it's not proposed yet but the blocks are there. Digital ID comes in later this year with some incentive to switch because "it's not mandatory"

at the same time, a state Gov is putting in law that prevents anyone of certain age using social media

i don't personally disagree with the ideas, but I don't trust the people making these snap decisions or where it could lead
