We really need a cryptoleftist farcaster client. This network is meant to be used from an opinionated UI. You could emphasize solidarity and organizing features, and give people the possibility to fine-tune their algorithm as they wish. It would be a great place for exploring the possibilities of digital democracy.

i like the idea but I don’t understand why would we like it to be an isolated thing. i can’t express how farcaster helped me realise there’s a left crypto community (I did that knew it before) and would like some arguments as of why it is jot a better idea to have it in the main client so more people can reach it

The FC client does not imply you only hang out among leftist people though. It's just about having a better suited UI for our goals and purposes, while leveraging the existing network. You'd still see posts from that client on Warpcast and viceversa, if I understand correctly how these things work.

i just want to say again that the leftist community here on warpcast is something i never thought i'll find bc every other crypto talking space was coopted by oportunists and hypercapitalists so i do really thing this community need to thrive and reach as much people as possible so we can all understand how to use crypto for good and build a better world for us

that’s what i meant about the vibe of the community being so right leaning in a broader sense. i do not only have to fight against the crypto bro tag when i say i hold crypto but when i say i also think it can be a tool for the left that’s another big can of worms hahaha

btw, just out of curiosity, you know that sentence bc you know spanish or just bc it is a common one regardless of the language? because there’s way more spanish people than I thought in farcaster

Es mi lengua madre :) aquí hablo inglés porque creé esta cuenta para seguir crypto twitter y tuitear de ello sin que me juzguen mis amigos de izquierda del mundo real. Además, el inglés sigue siendo la lengua franca, sobre todo en este espacio. He pensado crearme otra cuenta en español pero daría demasiado trabajo

si, está claro que todo el mundo habla inglés aquí pero bueno poco a poco se crearán más comunidades de otras lenguas multicuenta acaba siendo un error, siempre cuelgas más en una que en otra yo hablo como me viene pero también es cierto que muchas veces acabamos hablando inglés entre gente hispanohablante jaja
