5/ Web3 began with high hopes to address these nightmares. However, what started as a movement to make the world more secure, private, and free has veered off course. Today, Web3 is heavily dominated by crypto scams, mints, airdrops, and investors keen to “own” the web. What is Web3? I’m no longer certain.
