Why are people paying storage for these llm bots? What is the incentive? Do some people just want to watch the world burn?

Even on platforms where there's no pay to play still has them. So it's arguably not even just the attempt at grinding on airdrops (like degen or others) that's driving it. It's super weird.

@pfista After seeing this phishing attempt, I think there might be another reason people pay for bots to be on Farcaster. They can monitor for opportunities to phish the community. See this one which was precisely timed with a genuine Moxie communication. For bad actors, it can be lucrative to pay for bots. โน๏ธ quote cast below from @amirmabhout and @rjs : https://warpcast.com/rjs/0x5bdffb5b

Feels like a new form of trolling more than anything, or at least trying to harvest โengagedโ accounts that could later be sold In either case I am becoming very good at recognizing ai vs human speak near instantly
