is it the atmosphere? lack of diversity? the founders reputation? being literally an evil corp?

i would look for: 

- founder-led company 
- where people work hard 
- wide org structure (high manager:ic ratio)
- employee friendly comp (generous terms on equity)

what would be a red flag for you to *not* join a company? like something that would be a deal-breaker in case all the 4 conditions are met

A company that meets the criteria but the founders are most interested in the earliest exit possible — the priorities on employees’ well-beings become misaligned and the work will trend into a deathmarch.
