After a long back-and-forth, GitHub has agreed to restore our repository. In order to make good on their concerns, we have altered our release process to use a dedicated CDN, which our autoupgrade script has now been changed to use. https://github.com/QuilibriumNetwork/ceremonyclient

I had the whole GitHub organization suspended by GitHub in the past. It took them 2 weeks to restore it. Since then I have a mirroring script to GitLab and BitBucket in every repo. But long term we need a decentralized GitHub alternative.

I agree wholeheartedly. This restoration is only a footnote in our long term, including our method of hosting our git repository. 🙂

Btw, there's this project called Radicle. They are building a decentralized git protocol. But the last time I checked they didn't have a web frontend for the protocol - at least not something on the level of GitLab, BB, let alone GitHub... But it looks promising though. https://radicle.xyz/
