they are trying. 

what I've discovered is it's not lack of intent - it's that the way "ads" are made and produced makes it prohibitive. the entire system that produces these things has entrenched contracts/agreements/IP that make it impossible. 

we are working to change all this, but takes time and effort

for any ad unit like this, it requires renegotiating from first principles contracts with:

- writers 
- producers
- musicians
- actors
- editors
- etc etc etc 

and requires all of them getting onchain sufficiently to do it. 

they are doing it, but it's many layers of complex changes of very legacy systems.

Yep, I’ve been part of those contracts. I do believe that once this space is truly understood, all of the above mentioned will hop on board. Could be an opportunity here for a contractual rewrites that can be used by producers, studios and talent alike.
