Leadership is earned through action, not abstract analysis.

Ethereum L2s and apps have a troubling habit of elevating people based on perceived potential rather than a track record of impact. Writing thoughtful blog posts or essays does not equate to leadership. Too often, we platform individuals for their ability to pontificate on others’ work rather than their own value creation.

We must resist the urge to reward signals of intellect over demonstrated action. Build a culture that celebrates execution over empty words. And for those who excel in commentary or research, encourage them to find roles where they can thrive—without placing them in leadership positions where they lack practical experience.
