Cabin Labs wants to spend >$100K to market a 10-week accelerator they currently charge $400 per person for, with ambiguous business growth goals beyond that… As a Cabin DAO member & fan, I would much rather see these funds allocated to grants that benefit people building community within the network. Thoughts?

I'd love to hear from people interested in: - Hosting and attending community meals - Pop up coliving gatherings - Conference side events & housing Cabin Labs used to support these, but recently stopped to focus on a paid cohort based accelerator program and other experimental business models. I'm one of few active community members outside of core contributors with enough Cabin governance tokens to submit proposals to the DAO (>1000), and hope to gather people who are interested in working on a proposal for a more decentralized community support model.
