Voting with rationale within the first few hours of a live prop should give you some sort of delegate flex. WDYT @peterpandam @toadyhawk.eth @ccarella.eth @nounishprof @noun40 @seneca @parkermccurley @jonruth ?

I think the fix is for people to share their honest thoughts during the candidate phase rather than waiting for group thought. Tipping for good VWR's or helpful signals could be a solution.

No — I think we put way too much emphasis on vwr. And the revote thing is so lackadaisical. If I think it’s important, I’ll write a whole blog post with my reasoning (and have) and may vote early as well. Sometimes it’s just not necessary. Voting already takes an extensive amount of time. Being expected to write an amazing reason every time is way too much to ask. If I think I have a unique perspective that will be valuable for others you’ll see it. But I don’t think we need to celebrate it or reward it.

I like to vote early when I can but I also think it's valuable to sit on a prop for a few days and think about it and vote thoughtfully. I think the flex of voting early is being able to shape the discussion, so there is a strategic advantage in doing so.

I love this idea. With Decent, we’ve built a highly extensible framework for DAO operations, part of which I believe should be incentivizing the good behavior of voters that is conducive to a DAO’s ability to execute. LFG! 🚀
