Bans Update

We're applying bans as we wrap up Season 12. In Season 13, all bans will be reset, giving everyone a fresh opportunity to earn tips.

At the end of each season, we'll reevaluate activity using a rule-based analysis of our choosing to weed out behavior that closely aligns with farming. To prevent gaming the system, we won't announce rules in advance but will use various techniques to monitor how tips are being distributed.

Looks like I'm still banned 🚫 And after buying up nearly 250k $DEGEN this month to support buildoors more 🤦‍♂️

Based on what I'm reading it looks like a flaw in the reciprocity algorithm, the person who has locked the least will likely get flagged as a farmer if they didn't do much manual tipping this season (I've been working crazy hours all month and left almost all tipping to @microsub ).

Maybe I'll play around this weekend and try to confirm this theory so we can have it fixed for next season, if that is the case.

I’m really sad about this. I’m banned as well, and only did manual tipping . Largely tipped my whole balance to one artist a day (different each day, only tipped a few artists multiple times). Difficult to see how I was flagged here. T4t risk was low according to the frames. This hurts seeing a month of contributions being taken off the table the day before.

Honestly, I’m more disappointed in the team making a last minute decision like this. It seems to mostly hurt genuine people vs stopping farmers.

I'm going to dig into the queries, just not sure when... Hopefully can provide some insight
