Not the best piece of advice, but i wish someone had told me: You are probably not shadow banned. It was just a bad post. + all the implications of that simple idea https://generativelight.substack.com/p/reach-is-dead

Keep doing what you believe in, don't worry about pleasing others, drink water and be happy.

Just as with generative art, in your artistic journey, there are numerous factors you can try to control, but they may diverge from your expectations, for better or for worse. Therefore, whatever happens, always remember to prioritize your mental well-being above all else.

It's gonna be painful some of the time - it could be that's exactly when you are doing your best work. If you are finding something difficult, it's probably because it's worth doing.

Consistency is the key, it can take a long time until you are recognized, don't forget the main reason why you make your art.

Make art that makes you happy, not others. Pleasing others is not ensured recipe for success but it is a recipe to unhappiness.

You are the only person in the world that can make the art you make. If you don’t make it, nobody else will. It doesn’t matter if anyone else sees it or likes it, this is not the point. Go out and make it.

Remind yourself that you chose this path to have freedom of creation. Nothing is too absurd, too intense or too bland. Also, art is a bit like science research. You can share and publish your findings even if they are ongoing. It's a process not a finality.

Clear a place in your mind/life for ideas to land safely in. Like an opening in a forest, keep it tidy and welcoming. Go there often and stay for as long as possible. Accept whatever shows up there and bring us back your story of it.
