Today I'm working on a mini generative art project ๐Ÿ‘€ The particularity of this one is that it's written in PHP (using the default library, GD) ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Why am I trying to do this in PHP? Answer coming soon ๐Ÿ˜

Studying charcoal textures lately but today I felt a bit better and decided to try a concept I was procrastinating to put in practice. I used bigger particles in a first pass to create an organic color scheme and then after I drew the charchoal texture as finition. What do you think?

Playing with noise to warp color hues and luminance, as various rows mix with an additive blend mode. Itโ€™s just dots in a horizontal row, but it gives me the feeling of ocean waves.

Hi Camille! Working on these rn. Challanged myself to not use WebGL for this time, only p5.js. Using a simple particle system and some basic shapes.

"One Ring" is a QQL derivative I've been working on where I put the ring, its nuclear element, in the spotlight. One of the most interesting tricks I use is that slightly off-center circles, when rotated, give this in-motion appearance that looks so unique!

Working on a terrain-generator one more time... ๐Ÿ˜… Left side shows a low-poly debug-view for faster dev-iteration (~2sec render-time) - on the right a higher-res rendering (~15sec render-time). The data is all 3D but it's all rendered with p5.js 2D-tech only - no WebGL. Still early W.i.P. though.

this rocky-shadowy thing as always looking for new ways to create kind-of-real-looking textures and imaginary objects generating a height map, going through it and calc position and light / shadow per pixel p5js stuff, tried it with glsl, had lesser control and the result weren't good enough

Hey Camille - Foils from foils. Technique and the source material are foils, the shape generating module of the entire generative system is based on creases across crushed foils, analog generative!
