These are wooden animals made buy indigenous people - Guarani - from South Brazil. Some Guarani peoples live in south Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina. They have a very beautiful tradition of walking very far to visit other Guaranis. Walking for them is full of meaning. 

Well, and the art they do is so cute. I wish I had more.

I’m a writer and an editor. I love art, literature, music, and to drink good coffee. I practice Ashtanga yoga. I’m here to connect and learn.

They are amazing. These ones I bought directly from the artists in a small market. Sometimes it is difficult to find them. I love them.
