I’m relieved to be done with Moxie.

It’s liberating to interact with people again, without the looming presence of financial incentives.

Also, receiving money from people is emotionally difficult for me. If you’re from a similar socioeconomic background, you probably understand what I mean.

Although I truly appreciate the money that was gifted to me, it’s not what I initially came here for. I’m really happy to be back having genuine interactions with people, no strings attached.

The interactions changed a lot after moxie. I miss the chats I used to have before it.

I’m a writer and an editor. I love art, literature, music, and to drink good coffee. I practice Ashtanga yoga. I’m here to connect and learn. 

People come and go for different reasons. But I think the monetization of interactions might be one of them. This is a very demanding platform. If you are not here daily, you kind of disappear. That’s also frustrating.

I agree. For me, it made me less active. Because everything felt fake. And I worried other people would assume I just wanted to interact for the money. I’m wondering if it had driven away other people due to this.
