I don’t do it 99% of the time. I like to play it free. I just do it if it is a very complex file with too many layers, so I don’t get lost.

I’m pretty weird, I name them in illustrator but don’t name them in 3dmax. Weird cuz I use layers in both softwares. I’m just more comfortable this way.

Am I considered a designer since I designed this MEME *cough I mean "world view on tips" as represented by me...DV... Sometimes going to my next tipping mechanism helps keep me on track Although I don't spend 100% of my tips always, I want to make sure I tip at LEAST 90% Also, I like to tip in line with what the tipping mechanism community represents.

Depends on what type of file. Usually though yeah. Helpful when doing stuff like package design and you have a background layer under a template layer, and need the content to go above it all while still being able to see the outline template

Almost always as part of the process. And it depends on what you use Figma for. If you're doing digital product work it makes perfect sense, if you're doing creative design you can skip it. And when you have final shapes, I name them.
