gm woke up spicy today and ready to argue that crypto’s biggest art innovation is actually just giving artists a CTA to share that they feel less gross about (mint is higher status than buy)

interesting, so in a sense artists can measure interest/response to the CTA as how valuable the status symbol happens to be now or in lesser future circumstances. though not sure all art is transient or static mint/buy, so crypto art hasn't achieved a complete CTA.

yea I agree w all this Also separate but related to the CTA I wonder why we haven’t seen something like a “payment stream” concurrent with an experiential art project - like turns on to engage with the project, turn off when finished

subscription protocols definitely should consider more claim mechanics, like rollover/postponement/append-only mods. but this speaks to the unfulfilled potential of crypto media when the creator needs to risk tradeoffs in the CTA, as well as an ever-increasing demand for value, and so must rely on more tooling.
