I know ghiblifying everything is fun, but it really showcases how if we don’t have effective IP protection for individuals by default we’ve ceded all value from creative generation to pre-existing capital owners with distribution + legal Also we basically turn all artists into interns working “for exposure”

sure, but the evolution of copyright laws IS adapting along with the evolution of things like unions, labor laws, and antitrust enforcement technology exists within the human context just like everything else

It will all come back to blockchain / signing a verified tx to prove creator ownership IP etc. But like you’re saying the human context of what IP is now and was before will be obliterated. Like music records to streaming services
