Why are Europeans referred to on the internet as “Europoors?” When I am in Europe I perceive a relatively highly standard of living, infrastructure development and public safety. I do not see many Europoors.

Agreed on post WWII American victory lapping. I do feel a sense of superabundance in parts of America although it’s also mixed with more extreme poverty and insecurity

the superabundance spikes imo is a feature not a bug for a lot of people bc it sets up the scaffolding for the modern myth of the American dream  while also placing the burden of culpability of poverty onto the impoverished themselves
