It's actually common knowledge here that clothing is much cheaper in china and I know people who travels for a week with a few empty suitcases in Guangzhou and other places to shop clothes for the entire year (or more). I can attest that prices are waaaay cheaper for the same quality you'd buy for $50-200 for $10-20, or less.
