A pattern that I intuit but probably won't pay much attention to: the vast majority of AI-assisted fiction will follow a hero's journey arc (see: The Hero With a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell). This archetypal pattern appeals deeply to human consciousness, and Campbell's framing of it is very AI-grokkable.

def agree we'll also see the re-emergence of the "earnest tropes" like instead of the "subverted tropes" bc most writers using AI won't make the connection that the plot device is a trope in the first place this will also ignite more copycat content fights @danicaswanson on topic for what we've been casting about

I feel this for sure and tbh I'm for it. It's a forcing function for humans to come to terms with a reality that most people, even so-called artistic geniuses, don't have many original thoughts or creations. And that's okay. It's all relative. Like if the art resonates, then it's good - despite it's originality...
