Legal battles are a huge distraction that take years to resolve, and they're expensive. We tried to come to an agreement by legal avenues and we got jerked around for months, when all we want to do is get back to launching new features.

We felt this was the best option to get to a fast resolution

A lawsuit still remains an option, but ultimately it is a slow solution that will leave the chain unable to be upgraded until we get a settlement or a court decision. If the Conduit team does not begin the migration process immediately, we will use every avenue available to us.

We can't speak for Binance, but we don't believe this affects most of the DEGEN in circulation. Listing decisions are up to them.

You can for now, but there is a non-zero risk that Conduit chooses to stop supporting the chain or refuses to hand over the upgrade keys.

We hope they will work us to expedite the migration and we don't have to relaunch contracts on a new chain.
