“Do you tell people you work in crypto?”

Well, I definitely don’t lead with it.

Most of crypto, at least in the eyes of the mainstream (and in many cases rightfully so), is an embarrassment.

Instead, I tell them how the technology I’m working on can fix their real problems. Then, if they ask how, I explain the crypto component.

Then they like crypto.

Focus on the benefits of crypto technology, not just the hype. Show how it can solve real-world problems to change people's perception. Educate, don't overwhelm.
