Power Badges are hidden on the UI, but they are still here. It’s really hard to get one now…how hard, we pulled the data. Thank you @fibo112358.eth for the help! 18,272 people joined in August, 1 has a Power Badge. 67,555 people joined in July, 9 have badges. 134,006 people joined in June, 20 have badges. 107,552 people joined in May, 30 have badges. 76,448 people joined in April, 79 have badges. 55,448 people joined in March, 139 have badges. 126,362 people joined in February, 249 have badges. 35,396 people joined in January, 119 have badges. The other 1,319 badges reside with people who joined in 2022-2023!

These numbers makes me think that there is a variable that is influenced by how long you've been here and accumulated a history of casting. So, in September all of the preceding months should increase proportionally. Jan is an interesting outlier, but ratio to members joined is significantly higher so if it was normalized it would fit the trend.

It's never been stated but it would make sense that since it took longer for people to get the badge that had been here longer... that alternatively, it would be harder to lose if you've had it a while. New accounts acquire the badge easier but also lose it easier. It almost has to be the case.

100%, the pattern just jumped out at me. Made everything we've all experienced first hand helping non badge casters so clear.

I had mine for almost 6 months, nothing has changed in my posting and I lost mine. It truly makes zero sense and now my growth has just been completely halted as a result. 100% makes me question my time here unfortunately.
