I actually think we're probably already at the point where the marginal bit of anti-wokeness is on balance more bad than good. (Not the same as wokeness being good, because anti-wokeness doesn't just fight wokeness, it also has many, IMO mostly bad, side effects) https://twitter.com/0FJAKE/status/1783928239099875386

Keeping the society in conflict mentality; fighting against things that are sensible just because the other side happens to support them; sometimes weakening norms around human decency... Basically issues common to any movement that focuses too strongly on being against things and lacks a positive vision.

I keep going back to how Bitcoin Cash turned out: IMO they were correct on the original issue (hard forks good, bigger blocks good), but they focused so much on being anti core devs, that many of them fell for Craig Wright completely when he showed up and offered his program, and the tech did not go far.

Also people like traditions, that’s why nobody took/will take it seriously. You can’t name some other crypto bitcoin xxx. If it’s worse than other chains, people won’t use it and maxis will eat you alive -> no support from core community nor normies. Eth better xD (pls reduce fees man).
