fun fact: never buy a bamboo cutting board because of the density and hardness of bamboo fibers, in addition to its high silica content, bamboo cutting boards dull knives way faster than end grain boards made from maple or walnut.

esp. good for meats like chicken, since you donβt need to worry about dangerous bacteria getting into the wood
