So I’m starting to see the dark side of the quote cast meta. Quote casts are powerful ways to get the attention of the OG caster, but only when used to add to the conversation and try to get more eyes on it. 

When it’s used to ask a question to the original caster instead of replying to them and asking directly, it feels gross and I don’t like it. What is the point of this? It feels like shallow engagement bait rather than adding to the conversation. I hope this is not the new trend. Most will ignore it.

Very true. and people keeps finding ways though 🤦🏼‍♂️ like eveb from the old days to now, from tips to tips, to degen farms syndicate groups, to  trying to get powerbadge. etc.

people always find ways to beat the current system lol

Feels like it. I know that top level casts are what matter most but I don’t plan to encourage this behavior and when I see it repeatedly I’m just muting. I don’t need this.
