If you are starting in the morning, put your training shoes near your bed. This will motivate you and you'll be more likely to do it

Develop a good routine/habit and defend it vigorously. There will be plenty of things (including within your own head) trying to disrupt your routine... don't let it. The routine is 90% of the game.

Make sure your form is rock solid before you start adding any weight, if you're weight lifting. If you're just starting, even the body weight versions with proper form will be a good workout. And embedding it in your muscle memory will be a good way to keep from injuring yourself when you add weight later.

Start slow, consistency is better than burning out. Don’t work through pain. Don’t let what others are doing around you affect you. E.g no ego weight Any routine will work if you haven’t worked out much before. No need for complicated plans Warm up before Stretch after!

Download the app called strong lifts. This will get you to 90% of where you want to be. Lift heavy and lift often. Obviously if that is your goal. https://apps.apple.com/us/app/stronglifts-weight-lifting-log/id488580022
