outside of manual labor or football practice i don't remember drinking straight up water until my early 20s. grade school was milk, sunnyD, hi-c kool-aid, juice from frozen concentrate, sodas. then coffee, more soda, gatorade, beer, wine. bottled water becoming a thing seemed like the biggest scam of all time.

what was the most bizarre or niche drink you enjoyed growing up?

Growing veggies for the fine folks of Southeastern Massachusetts, w/ a focus on nutrient quality. Always interested in the evolution of digital payments.  🎩 

There was a soda in the 1990s you could buy at a few comic book shops called “poison” or something. It had a black bottle cap with a skull on it, and had a strong ginger bite.
