If the lab leak theory was accepted earlier there would have been increased demands for transparency from China heightened diplomatic tensions potential sanctions and a greater focus on biosecurity and international cooperation this could have significantly impacted global politics and public health strategies

Agreed. Do you think sanctions would have opened the door for financial remuneration for impacted countries? Crazy to consider scope of the impact I remember the earliest folks were looking at cell phone activity around the lab taking a dip in October, potentially signaling something was amiss there.
