only answer i have is purple/blue app are wildly different ecosystems with different verticles flourishing 

there’s rune-equivalent innovation that only exists on farcaster

I don't think this explains it fully, and know there are folks into ordinals, yet I haven't seen much discussion on Runes pop up.

Theory - folks only have so much bandwidth and the innovation happening on Farcaster is absorbing a lot of energy from folks here.  

I experience this directly bouncing between Sol & Base.
