slow & steady

just cultivated our early bed which was planted in the GH March 4th, transplanted April 4th, and has now been cultivated a few times cause it got spotted into a bed with heavy grass pressure.

we’ll aim to start harvesting these sometime around the summer solstice, should be stellar bulbs for summertime.

succession number two in a different field also cultivated today, number three was just seeded in the gh last week, and number 4 will get sown early June.

It’s not the most popular crop, yet for those who enjoy it, having beautiful fresh fennel is a treat.

All goes well we’ll have intermittent harvests into October.

Growing veggies for the fine folks of Southeastern Massachusetts, w/ a focus on nutrient quality. Always interested in the evolution of digital payments.  🎩
