alright… is business school actually worth it these days? are those mba degrees necessary or can experience and networking get you further? i can sense a divide here especially in this space.

My take on grad schools generally.

If they will directly be required for your future career then they’re worth pursuing.

Example - if I wanted to become a professor at a business school I would start with an mba > doctorate.

Would give you the intimate experience to be a better professor.

Beyond that… it’s highly dependent.

Have an acquaintance who got his mba from Penn before going into finance and for him it was definitely worth the time invested.

Growing veggies for the fine folks of Southeastern Massachusetts, w/ a focus on nutrient quality. Always interested in the evolution of digital payments.  🎩
